Issues with Site Seals, Logos, etc.

Implementation of the Site Seal on the website will make your customers more certain that data transmission goes through a secured connection and that they deal with a verified Company (domain name), as the Seal can be installed only for a website that has an SSL certificate issued for it.

Site Seals can appear on a website as a graphic image (Static Seal) and as a pop-up (Dynamic Seal); TrustLogo is also available for any certificate type.

The most common issues that can appear with Site Seals installation are:

  • Site Seal is not visible
  • Incorrect information for OV/EV Certificates

Usually, your Site Seal starts displaying within 2 hours after installation. Installation of Comodo (now Sectigo) TrustLogo requires uploading 2 snippets of HTML code, one should be before your </HEAD> tag and the second one before your </BODY> tag. Those are provided in a separate email after the certificate is issued.

If you found out that the Seal displays incorrect information about your Company (company name, address, city, state and country) you will need to contact our Support Team, specifying the order ID and correct information to place.
