Once the certificate is activated, it will be waiting for you to respond to complete the domain control validation.

Sectigo (former Comodo) certificates will not be canceled unless you request cancellation submitting a ticket to our Support Team to SSL department. Certificates from Sectigo (former Comodo) can remain in awaiting validation status for an unlimited amount of time.
