How to configure your Private Email account with systeme.io

Connecting your Private Email with Systeme.io allows you to manage your email marketing, automation, and campaigns seamlessly. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you integrate your Private Email with Systeme.io:

First, you will need to authenticate your domain name for email sending. For it, please follow the steps below:

1. Log into your systeme.io account;

2. Go to the Menu and click on "Settings". In the settings menu, click "Emails" and then in the "Domains"section press on "Click here to authenticate your domain and display its information in your email header, which will help improve your email delivery rates".

3. In the pop-up window that appears, enter your domain name (without the three "www.").

4. Next, click on "Continue" to generate the three CNAME records to be integrated into the DNS parameters of the site hosting your domain name:

5. The list of the three CNAMEs will be displayed in a table in addition to a DMARC record that must be entered for your domain to be authenticated. More information about DMARC record can be found here.

If your domain is pointed to our BasicDNS, PremiumDNS, or FreeDNS, follow the instructions below to add the needed records:

1. Having logged into your Namecheap account, choose Domain List on the left and click on the Manage button next to your domain:

2. Navigate to the Advanced DNS tab from the top menu and click on the Add new record button.

3. Select TXT Record for Type and insert a string (usually, you can get it from your service provider) into the Value field.

For Host, add @ that corresponds to yourdomainname.tld or a subdomain (for example, si413738, however, we were provided with the “si413738.yourdomainname.tld” host name) you need to create the TXT for DMARC record and three CNAME .

NOTE: The domain name itself should not be included in the Host field. It means that if you need to add the record for something._domainkey.yourdomain.tld, only something._domainkey is to be added as a Host value (even if your service provider asked you to add the domain itself as well). This is a system requirement.

4. Click on the Save all changes button. Normally, it takes 30 minutes for newly created host records to take effect.

Once you have finished completing the three CNAME records, contact the systeme.io Support team, so they can check your domain name.

If your domain name is pointed to our Shared Hosting nameservers, please proceed with the steps below:

1. Log into your cPanel.

2. Navigate to the Domains section and click on the Zone Editor menu:

3. Click the Manage button next to the domain which DNS zone you would like to edit:

4. Click + Add Record button:

  • Name: must be copied and pasted from the systeme.io account;

  • TTL: must be a positive integer (in seconds);

  • Record:must be copied and pasted from the systeme.io account.
Once all the fields are filled in, click the Add Record button:

Once you have finished completing the three CNAME records, contact the systeme.io Support team, so they can check your domain name.
