In this guide we will show you how to transfer domains to or from Namecheap in bulk using our Bulk transfer option.
Before submitting a transfer request with Namecheap, make sure your domains are prepared for transfer through your current registrar. This is generally done by removing transfer locks and getting the necessary Auth codes.

Note: Each domain has a unique Auth code and has to be unlocked for transfer separately on the current registrar side.

The transfer is completed automatically in 5-7 days for most domains. Once the transfer of your domains is completed you will receive the notifications on your Namecheap Primary Email address, and the domains will become manageable in your Domain List.
Note: Due to technical reasons, it is only possible to submit the transfer for up to 50 domain names at once. If you need to transfer more than 50 domains, you can either submit several Bulk Transfer orders or contact our Support Team for assistance.

In order to prepare domains for transfer in bulk, please do the following:
The Auth codes will be sent to the domains’ Registrant email addresses.
Note: The Registrant email address is assigned to your domain and is not necessarily the same as your account email address.
Once you have the Auth codes, feel free to proceed with the transfer submission with your new registrar.
Note: Due to ICANN transfer requirements you have to wait at least 60 days from the registration date before transferring your domain. Additionally, domains cannot be transferred within a 60-day period after the previous transfer.
Note: An expired domain cannot be unlocked for transfer in your Namecheap account. In order to unlock an expired domain contact our Support Team.
