If your domain name is registered with Namecheap, it should be pointed to BasicDNS or Premium DNS.
To connect a domain from another registrar to EasyWP, simply create an ALIAS (ANAME) record on the side of your domain registrar or your DNS provider.
NOTE: If your domain is registered on CloudFlare or uses Cloudflare’s DNS, point your domain to EasyWP using a CNAME record.
In this case, you should create a website using our free temporary domain name. After that, you will be able to change it to the necessary one, setting up the ALIAS record on the side of the domain registrar.
PLEASE NOTE: If your domain registrar does not support ALIAS records, you can choose our free temporary domain name first and then point your domain name to our FreeDNS. After that, you will be able to change the domain name in your EasyWP dashboard. You can also point the domain to EasyWP using a CNAME record.
If you’re already using our FreeDNS service or PremiumDNS, you can easily choose your domain name once you’ve created your website by simply using the drop-down menu in the EasyWP dashboard.
