Price increase on Identity Digital domains

It’s important to keep on top of the stuff you own, especially when someone else decides to get involved.

Domains are no different. And unfortunately, the registry for over 200 popular domains is raising their prices… so we have to as well.

On October 4, 2023, Identity Digital will increase registration, renewal, and transfer prices on select domains.

If you own a .live, .life, .world, or any Top-Level Domain (TLD) from Identity Digital, then you could be paying more for registration, renewal, and transfer from October 4, 2023 onwards.

Why the increase? 

At Namecheap, we partner with loads of registries to bring you many different Top-Level Domains. 

Simply, registries own the rights to the TLDs, which means they decide how they’re sold and who they’re sold through, and then get a cut from the action. 

Sometimes, the registries increase their prices, which means we need to increase ours too. 

We don’t want to leave you out to dry though, so it’s important to take advantage of the current price tag by renewing, registering, or transferring your domains before October 4, 2023.
